Step 3: Access Tax Setup

    • In the Store Settings interface, find and click on the Tax Setup option. This will open the tax setup page.

Step 4: Add Tax Information

  1. Enter Your GST Number

    • If your business is registered for GST, you will need to enter your GST Number in the provided field. This ensures that your store is compliant with tax regulations.

  2. Set Your Tax Percentage

    • In the tax setup page, specify the tax percentage that will be applied to your products. This is the rate at which tax will be added to your sales.

Step 5: Configure Tax Options

  1. Enable or Disable Tax

    • There is a button that allows you to enable or disable tax for your store. If you choose to disable it, no tax will be applied to your products.

  2. Enable or Disable Tax Included in Product Price

    • Double-check that you’ve entered your GST number and tax percentage correctly, and reviewed the tax options according to your needs.

  2. Click on Save

Step 7: Verify the Tax Settings

  • After saving, your tax details will be applied to your store. You can visit your store’s product pages to check that the tax information is correctly reflected, and that customers see the right pricing including tax (if enabled).

By following these steps, your store will have the correct tax information, ensuring both compliance with tax laws and a smooth shopping experience for your customers.
